Counselor by Training, Mom at Heart, Storyteller on a Mission
Hi, I’m Erin. I Don’t Fit In Here—And Maybe You Don’t Either.
I’ve spent over a decade as a licensed therapist working with new moms who kept asking the same quiet question: “Is it just me?”
I knew the answer was no.
Still, we keep getting handed the same story—about how motherhood should look, how we should feel, and how love and instinct are supposed to click into place overnight.
After becoming a mother myself, I realized the myth wasn’t just hurting my clients. It was hurting me, too.
Now, I write and speak about the unfiltered realities of motherhood—the kind that lives in the space between gratitude and grief, joy and rage, love and loss. My work is rooted in the concept of matrescence—the transformation of becoming a mother, at every stage.
My book, The Myth of the Perfect Mom, is coming April 7, 2026. I also run Real Good Mom—a new digital home for moms who are tired of feeling like they're failing at a game they never agreed to play.
